Did you ever go buy something, take it home, and find that it don’t work, or is damaged in some way? I went to my local Sears store for a dehumidifier. I picked one out, and took it home. Lugged it down into my basement (they’re not light), plugged it in, and pressed “ON”. NOTHING happened. No compressor noise, no fan…NADA. So I had to lug the damned thing back up the stairs, out to the car, and back to the store I went. All the aggrevation and dropping $250 for a boat anchor had me fairly pissed. Going back into the store, I informed the associate that the dehumidifier I just purchased didn’t work. Long story short, I had them plug in and turn on another unit BEFORE I left the store with it, just to be certain it was in working order.
This seems to happen to me alot. I seem to always pick up the defective one in the bunch. And I’m not just picking on Sears. It happens at Best Buy, Target, WalMart, and Lowes, just to name a few. If it weren’t for bad luck,………..
